Our client is North America’s largest distributor of high-grade hardwood lumber, sheet goods, decorative millwork; architectural building products and decorative surfaces to the residential and commercial construction markets.

They operate a North American network of over eighty-five distribution centers and are looking to add a full-time Warehouse Associate to their Edmonton, AB location.

ABOUT THE WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE OPPORTUNITY:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Unloading and loading flatbed trailers, dry vans and containers Verifying counts and identifying products to be stocked Tagging and stocking materials in warehouse Tallying lumber and organizing products in the warehouse Identifying and tagging products Cleaning the warehouse Packaging and pulling orders Driving forklift, this includes dismounting and re-entering forklift multiple times a day

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

A positive attitude  1+ years of warehouse experience   Self-Starter, able to work without constant direct supervision Ability to lift 50+lbs High attention to detail Good organizational and time management skills Basic computer skills for receiving products Forklift experience (preferred but will train)
