Warehouse Associate - Covia Energy

Covia Energy is a leading provider of high-quality proppant and logistical solutions, offering in depth industry expertise, highly reliable operations, and an extensive delivery network to diversified oil and gas markets across North America. The company supplies premium Northern White Sand from strategically located mines delivering products to all major North American shale basins through an expansive rail and terminal network. Covia Energy also provides proppant to producers throughout the Permian Basin from regional mines with close proximity to the Midland and Delaware basins.

 

Covia Energy, located in Wedron, IL. has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, handle and manage shipping of products. Operate forklift and associated equipment for receiving and warehousing supplies. Arrange and organize products and material in multiple warehouses. Inspect and verify products, materials, and equipment before storing in warehouse. Execute loading and unloading of inventory materials. Participate in training provided by the Company. Ensure compliance of MSHA rules and regulations along with safe warehouse practices. Help perform inventory checks as required. Maintain housekeeping of multiple warehouses on site. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry objects weighing 1-60lbs for short derations. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Preference given to prior experience working in warehouse. Excellent communication skills. A valid driver’s license required. Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.). Experience with IFS a plus. Pleasant, professional manner.
