**Job Posting: Warehouse Associate** **Location:** Virginia Beach, VA **Shift:** Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM **Pay Rate:** $18/hour **Job Description:** Adecco is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for managing the logistics of shipping and receiving, as well as processing, storing, and maintaining inventory. This role requires a commitment to accuracy and efficiency to ensure timely and secure deliveries to our customers. **Essential Functions:** + Pick, pack, and secure shipping orders for delivery. + Perform annual inventory counts to maintain accurate inventory levels. + Collaborate with procurement to reorder damaged or undeliverable merchandise. + Notify management if merchandise cannot be located. **Job Responsibilities:** + Inspect outgoing packages to ensure they are secure and properly packaged. + Restock shelves with newly received merchandise. + Document and scan incoming merchandise to ensure proper location assignments. + Unpack delivery shipments and compare packing lists with purchase orders for accuracy. + Label deliveries and allocate them to designated locations or customer orders. + Verify delivery addresses and shipping methods for proper and timely shipments (e.g., UPS Ground, FedEx, DHL). + Inspect merchandise for damages and notify suppliers or shippers as necessary. + Load trucks securely to prevent transit damage. + Maintain a clean and safe work area, restocking packing materials and eliminating hazards. **Requirements:** + Teamwork and collaboration skills. + Strong organizational and planning abilities. + Effective time management. + Attention to detail and accuracy. + Inventory control and documentation expertise. + Basic math and recording skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. + Current forklift license (or prior certification). + Friendly and helpful demeanor. + Clear communication skills. **Experience:** + High School Diploma or GED required. + Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience. **To APPLY for this position in Virginia Beach, VA please click the link.** **Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
