Warehouse Associate Pharmacy-EVS
Job Summary ​Provides active support to the Warehouse in the operation and inventory systems. Interfaces with inventory support staff at off-site locations, receives and ships merchandise. Performs diversified clerical, data entry, and related receiving activities. Assures accurate and timely documentation and information processing. Manages pump equipment inventory including tracking, scheduling maintenance, returns of defective equipment, monitoring availability, securing rental equipment, cleaning and calibration checks of returned equipment. Job Duties + ​Receives, unpacks and checks incoming merchandise. + Inspects all containers for visible damage, compares packing lists against purchase orders and notes discrepancies, number of cartons, and condition of carton contents, signs freight bills as acceptance. + Places incoming inventory on appropriate bin and shelf locations. + Maintains location and shelf item labels. + Rotates stock and stores all medications according to required methods, checks monthly for outdated items or damaged supplies. + Places outdated items in a designated area for return. + Assists the Warehouse and Logistics Manager in checking monthly for overstocked items and makes suggestions and takes actions where suitable to reduce inventory supplies and costs. + Fills customer packing slips and performs clerical activities to ensure shipments are ready for pharmacist review and delivery. + Works with UPS, Fed-Ex, USPS and other carriers to ensure delivery of medications. + Prepares orders with appropriate paperwork. Packs and ships outbound products to patients. + Participates in resolving discrepancies with requisitions, inventory records, and related documents and problems. + Handles biohazardous products for disposal, adheres to safety and related OSHA procedures in handling, storage, and disposal of product to ensure employee, product, and facility safety. + Informs Warehouse and Logistics Manager of all activity, problem areas, and related information. + Fills the position of Courier on an as needed basis, performing all duties and responsibilities of a fully trained Courier. + Manages equipment maintenance activities including cleaning and testing new and returned equipment, labeling and tracking equipment per policy and procedure. + Interacts with other departments to arrange equipment exchanges for preventative maintenance checks. + Schedules required maintenance. + Processing of returns of defective equipment, reviewing warranties, and obtaining price quotes for repairs. + Assists with report preparation for quality assurance activities: data collection, performing calculations for statistical analysis. + Assists in preparing but not limited to pre-inventory counts and assists in inventory coordination. + Responds proactively to and supports changes, anticipates problems and effectively adjust plans while maintaining standards and quality. due to emergency or other operational reasons, depending upon employee qualifications. Work is typically performed in a warehouse/maintenance or office environment; may require performance of work within clinical areas. Frequently required to reach above head, bend, push, pull, stoop and kneel. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
