Warehouse Associate with CDL

PAY: Pay 20.72 - 25.00 based on experience (Benefits Day 1 of employment)

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday

HOURS: Second Shift 4:00pm to 12:30am (Until work completion)

LOCATION: 12128 Burke St. Santa Fe Springs CA 90670

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Empty collected material from containers; cut open bags, dump payloads, empty roll-aroundsSort material by grade; separate and discard rubbishPrepare for recycle or discard retired shred containersCollaborate with team membersPerform emergency equipment repairsClean facility and containersMaintain strict security of material and trucksLoad trailers or unload trailers as necessaryEnsure safe machine operationsPerform all physical tasks without assistanceAdditional office duties as requestedCommunicates in a friendly professional manner with clients and co-workersOperates and maintains company vehicle safely and efficiently, whether manual or standard transmissionHandles all physical requirements for loading, transporting and driving without assistance (details below)Executes accurate and timely handling of client delivery requestsPrepares accurate paperwork and records.Empty collected material from containers; cut open bags, dump payloads, empty roll-aroundsSort material by grade; separate and discard rubbishPrepare for recycle or discard retired shred containersCollaborate with team membersPerform emergency equipment repairsClean facility and containersMaintain strict security of material and trucksLoad trailers or unload trailers as necessaryEnsure safe machine operationsPerform all physical tasks without assistanceAdditional office duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a CDLHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to stand on feet for extended periods of timeAbility to lift 25-50 pound containers and empty contentsAbility to lift heavy bags, push rolling carts and pull two- and four-wheeled containersAbility to follow directionsAbility to safely operate machineryAbility to work well in a team environmentExperience in basic machine maintenance preferredExperience shredding or recycling operations/warehousing environment is preferredForklift and Bobcat experience is preferred
