Warehouse employees are important members of the ABC team, who make sure that product is ready for shipment to our 125+ stores. Team members work in a physically demanding environment where meeting productivity standards and safety standards are required. The Bottle and Full Case Picker/Packer ensures that items are picked and packed for each store’s deliveries.

Hours for this role are Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - approximately 4:30 PM; the ending time can vary depending on the day's workload. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

Bottle Pickers will pull individual bottles for our stores; 3 bottles/minute is the minimum production standardPack bottles in the correct manner and in the correct box to limit damagesUse a wearable scannerFollow all ABC safety protocolsPromptly report and clean up spills, breakage or other issuesLift 35-50-pound cases, sometimes a hundred times a dayStand on feet for 10+ hours a dayMaintain minimum productivity standards per departmentAssemble boxes for spilt case lineClean, sanitize, and keep warehouse tidyPrepare work area for next day, including charging equipment and organizing areaOther duties as assigned

Job Requirements - Minimum Experience, Skills, and Education

Warehouse experience a plus but not required; company training provided19 years of age or olderMust pass both drug and background checks prior to starting workMust speak and understand job-level EnglishHave a positive teamwork attitude; is reliable and trust-worthy

Physical Requirements - With or Without Accommodations

Must be able to remain standing for long periods of time, upwards of 10 hours at a time, and move throughout the warehouseMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds of productMust be able to reach with hands and arms for product and use hands to work with and feel productBe able to frequent climb and descend ladders or lift platforms that may be greater than 6 feetBe able to move body to access products that are out of reach above or below body levelSense of smell occasionally needed to find damages that may not be visibleClose vision (at 20 inches or less), distance vision (at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus are needed

Work Environment

Frequent humid conditions; the warehouse is a not temperature-controlled. Fans are provided.Moving mechanical parts are frequently used.The employee is frequently exposed to working in high, precarious places (greater than 6ft).There is occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
