Our client, a family own interior design company in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a dependable and skilled Warehouse Clerk/Forklift Operator to join their team. In this role, you will manage key warehouse operations, including processing incoming orders, inventory management, forklift operation, and delivering exceptional service to customers.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to a safe, efficient, and customer-focused warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and process incoming orders with accurate documentation.Manage inventory counts and ensure product rotation to maintain readiness for customers.Load and prepare products for shipment while maintaining quality control standards.Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet racking, and yard ramps, in compliance with safety guidelines.Complete deliveries to customers' residences using company fleet vehicles.Perform basic vehicle maintenance and notify management of any repair needs.Provide thorough documentation for deliveries and shipments.Follow all safety precautions and wear required safety gear.Ensure warehouse equipment and vehicles are properly maintained.Stay current with warehousing policies to contribute to a safe work environment.Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. multiple times daily.Proven work experience as a delivery driver.Forklift and Order Picker certification.CDL license.One year of experience in a warehouse and delivery driving.Appliance installation experience.Pay and Shift:
Monday - Friday07:00 AM to 3:30 PM$20.00
