JOB PURPOSE

To Perform Warehouse Controller duties as per the Job Description for the Warehouse at Nashua Bloemfontein Branch

REQUIREMENTS

Experience and Qualifications Required:  ONLY APPLICATIONS ADHERING TO THESE TWO MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Grade 12. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure stock is packed, stocked, organized and rearranged in warehouse.  Ensure warehouse is kept neat and clean at all times.  Monitor and manage inventory control / stock ordering.  Manage and handle shipping, loading and unloading of stock.  Picking of stock according to orders. Ensure stock is handled with utmost care to prevent stock losses / Minimize risk.  Prepare and manage delivery route planning.  Stock counts as and when required.  Improve warehouse work processes through strategic planning in order to create a more efficient work environment.  Maintain vehicles by ensuring vehicles are serviced when needed and kept clean and tidy at all times.  Capturing/Processing of GRN’s accurately and timeously. Stock reconciliations – full process Backup for other tasks in warehouse. 

SKILLS AND ATRIBUTES

MS Office with intermediate Excel skills course completed. Strong administrative-, analytical-, numerical- and data capturing skills.  Excellent communicator (verbal & written).  Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements (desirable).   Deadline driven.   Ability to work in a demanding environment and under pressure.   Positive work ethic.  

OTHER ASSIGNMENTS

Clear credit- and criminal record. Valid driver’s licence. Must be able to work overtime as and when required.   Own transport preferred.
