The Opportunity

We are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator with a passion for the events industry. This is a casual position, based at our Brisbane warehouse in Acacia Ridge.

Core Responsibilities

Monitor and develop warehouse processes to ensure safe, effective storage & distribution of S&D stockEnsure the scheduled despatches and returns are met to the highest standard with the use of R2 and that items are returned to the shelf as per best practiceEnsure all OH&S guidelines, processes and principles are adopted within the warehouseEnsure all items are securely stored and at the adequate height for lifting and that items stored via fork lift are securely harnessed and storedIn conjunction with Warehouse Manager and Event Designer, assist, prioritise and manage ongoing projects within the warehouseBe proactive in ensuring warehouse is kept in a neat and tidy condition at all timesPrepare how to guides for safe and easy installation by our S&D casual crewMaintain and monitor systems and ensuring that accurate records are being keptAssist our event designers with upcoming creative shows and the logistics and preproduction for these eventsDevelop an understanding of the equipment and theming requirements associated with eventsMaintain effective communication with operations, theming, hotels and interstate offices

Your Background

Forklift licensePrevious experience in a warehouse environmentHas or willing to get their test & tag licenseAbility to work under pressureHigh level computer skills (MS Office)Good oral and written communication skillsGood customer service skillsTime management skills; the ability to manage multiple and competing deadlinesMaturity to deal with people at all levels of the organisationAbility to work after hours (when necessary)Conflict resolution skillsProven accuracy and attention to detail
