Job Title: Warehouse Distribution Assistant
Location: Rosemont, MN
Pay Rate: $22 per hour
Work Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Shift Work
Contract Duration: 6 Months (with potential for extension)
Job Summary: We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist with a logistics background to join our team at the Rosemont, MN facility. This role involves managing administrative duties, maintaining records, and providing essential support to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Coordination: Assist with truck check-in and check-out, find load numbers, and learn the CompuWeigh system to assist truck drivers as needed. Confidential Material Handling: Manage and protect sensitive information while performing day-to-day administrative tasks, including handling inbound and outbound volumes, inventory reconciliation, and product registration documentation. Reporting and Documentation: Conduct shipping research, prepare month-end reports, and maintain operational, EHSS (Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security), and maintenance records. Financial Reconciliation: Oversee location accounting, including accounts payable, vendor invoice handling, purchasing card reconciliation, and monthly financial reporting. Inventory Control: Administer all shipping and receiving activities, monitor inventory, and generate daily and monthly reports. Administrative Support: Handle correspondence, emails, voicemail, and confidential materials. Manage calendars, schedule meetings, arrange travel, organize events, and provide back-up support to other administrative assistants. Special Projects: Take on additional duties and projects as assigned, working under general supervision.Qualifications:
Basic experience with logistics software and understanding of logistics operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Experience in administrative support, with a focus on logistics, financial reconciliation, and inventory control, is preferred.#M1
