Learn more at HonorHealth.com. Responsibilities Job Summary Responsible for the regular delivery, distribution, pick-up, unloading, sorting, and storage of food and other goods. Responsible for the set up and oversight of production of group volunteers. Operates all required vehicles in performance of delivery and pick - up of food and other goods. Develops and maintains regular delivery and pick - up routes. Performs regular inspections of vehicles and equipment, notifying supervisor whenever appropriate. Performs general cleaning and minor equipment/vehicle maintenance as required. Assists with the Preventative Maintenance of the food bank equipment, trucks, including the forklifts and all pallet jacks. Maintains an organized racking system. Unloads, sorts, and stores food and other goods properly as directed by the FIRST IN FIRST out rules. Assists in preparation and/or distribution of all food (and other scheduled) programs. Will assist in the set up of the market each day. Organizes the racks, receives food from donors at the back door and has limited oversight of volunteers. Maintains all food donation records as required. Assists with food drives, pick up, deliveries and phone calls to confirm appointments. Provides support of the group volunteer production, including production set up and clean up. Gives instruction and agency information and supports group volunteers. Completes the required documentation for the production. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED Required Licenses and Certifications Driver License Must have the following: Clean driving record. Be at least 21 years of age Provide a current and valid Arizona driver's license Provide a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) from the Department of Motor Vehicles for a 3 year period that has been approved in advance by an insurance carrier Provide current certificate of completion of the National Safety Council’s Defensive Driving Course-4 (DDC-4) or successfully complete the next available, quarterly conducted, in-house training provided JCLHN Driver’s Safety Course Commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required if incumbent will be driving any vehicle that weighs more than 26,001 lbs and/or is capable of carrying 15 or more passengers. Upon Hire Required Food Service\Food Handlers Card - Food Handlers Card within 7 business days from date of hire Required Per OSHA regulations, must be 18 years or older and have, and maintain current certificate of completion of Safe Forklift Operation course to operate forklift. Also, prior to operating the fork lift, must have vehicle operation performance evaluated by HH and be determined to be competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely. Note: Newly hired incumbents have 45 days from date of hire into this job to obtain Safe Fork Lift Operation certificate of completion. Safe Fork Lift Certificate of completion is valid for a 3 year period. Required
