**Job Description** **T.G. Lee Dairy** has immediate job openings for dependable Warehouse Driver (class B CDL). The Warehouse Driver performs any combination of material receiving and storing tasks, along with transporting materials to/from offsite warehouse to the production facility. + Assists with inventory counts as assigned. + May mark or put identifying labels on product loads. + May record movement of stock in/out of work areas. + Monitors materials, products and equipment’s and reports irregularities to supervisor. + Loading and unloading trucks and moves items as assigned. + License to operate a forklift. + Possess and maintain a valid commercial driver’s license B. + Responsible for pulling products for production needs. + Perform freight handling using appropriate motorized and manual equipment (when certified). + May use hand-held tracking device + Mark the paperwork properly when making adjustments for product shortages. + Keep accurate records on load sheets, inventory sheets, scrap sheets, and computerized equipment. + Ensure proper code date rotation. + Report any product/packaging issues. + Maintain communication with other departments, management and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production. + Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate format, and completed with required information. + Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s. + Deliver ordered product to the plant in conjunction with production schedules. + Unload trucks and place product into inventory. + Return inventory from the plant and return to dry storage at the warehouse. + Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes. + Follow Good Manufacturing Practices. + Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area. + Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc. + Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area. + Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately. + Perform other duties as assigned. **T.G. Our fingerprints touch thousands of brands across the marketplace, and we’re passionate about delivering the simple pleasures of dairy from our farmer family owners to people everywhere. **OUR WAREHOUSE DRIVERS FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE:** + $22.00 per hour **SCHEDULE:** + Monday through Friday -- 9:00am to 6:00pm (may vary due to business need) **BENEFITS:** + Competitive pay + Paid vacation and holidays + Career growth opportunities – we promote from within! + Comprehensive healthcare benefits + Service recognition and employee rewards + Employee referral program + Tuition reimbursement + Uniforms provided + Work for dairy farming families + More benefits, too many to name **Requirements** + High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. + 6 months experience related in manufacturing environment. + Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. + Must have a minimum of 6 months of driving experience in Tractor-Trailer Truck or Bobtail. + Must have DOT certifiable and a good MVR. + Must currently have a Class B CDL (commercial driver’s license). + Must maintain a valid commercial driver's license and an air brake endorsement. + Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred. + Must be able to stand, walk, and climbing into and out of tractor trailers virtually the entire shift. + Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds + Must be able to work in outdoor conditions (year round) with moderate noise. May perform duties indoor and outdoor. + Overtime and working on holidays is often required. + Be able to effectively work in a team environment. + Effective verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to work in a fast paced environment. + Must have a clean driving record + Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks).
