Summary/Objective
This position will require a knowledge of both Shipping & Receiving processes. Flexibility in job assignments as well as the versatility to work both equally well. In addition,
the skill to operate Lift Equipment, RF units, and physical skills to lift or push / pull substantial product weight.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00pm - Finished with occasional required Saturdays.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 /hour (Based on experience)
Job Responsibilities
Pick up product from Staging Area and off load onto Rack Shelving units, Floor locations, or Stack Racks
When placing product accurately scan all merchandise utilizing RF gun
Pick up product from Rack Shelving Units, Floor locations, or Stack Racks and off load onto Dock / Bay area
When placing product accurately scan all merchandise utilizing RF gun
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Ensure full compliance of all safety programs both while operating and not operating material handling equipment
Competencies
Technical Knowledge of WMS
Experience using RF units & processes
Accurate movement of product through use of product scanning
Ability to drive Industrial Lift Equipment – Order Picker (comfortable with Height / Elevation)
Ability to lift / move product
Ability to work independently
Work Environment
Fast paced work environment in a light industrial setting
Physical Demands
High degree of physical activity to include: Significant lifting, Standing, Walking is required
Expected Hours of Work and Travel
Work until completion, typically 8-9 hours per day. Some weekend work.
Minimal Travel
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Must be able to work flexible hours as determined by the needs of the department including weekends
Must be able to pass lift assessment with a push pull requirement of 250 lbs
Must be able to operate an electric lift, forklift, and tugger
Must be able to operate an RF gun
Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
