Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role you will be the main point of contact for an essential part of the supply chain process, in charge of maintaining safety standards to ensure that products are delivered safely and efficiently to assembly line. Oversees warehouse operations, managing a team of employees who receive, handle, store, and dispatch products, systems, and services to customers. (Working Hours - 2nd Shift - 3:30pm - 12:00am and overtime hours may be needed occasionally)The work model for the role is: #LI - OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Division in Mebane, NC area.You will be mainly accountable to:•\tDevelop and maintain metrics, KPIs, reports, process documentation, internal customer service logs, and training and safety records. Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to achieve productivity and KPI targets.•\tImplement and oversee a risk prevention plan based on operational tasks and facility requirements. Inspect racks, pallets, forklifts, and load units to ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling procedures. Ensure vehicles, machinery, and equipment are well-maintained and fit for use.•\tSupervise, guide, and assign tasks to warehouse personnel, including storage and order preparation. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing standards, procedures, and regulatory compliance.•\tManage inventory control by tracking materials, updating the LX02 daily report, and ensuring 100% accuracy in stockroom locations. Maintain at least 98% inventory accuracy in STCK through physical counts and reconciliations.•\tConduct “Good and Safety Moment” talks, ensuring zero unresolved hazards or overdue action plans. Establish, monitor, and maintain high warehouse security standards by enforcing proper procedures.•\tEnsure new personnel receive thorough training before starting warehouse duties. Qualifications for the roleAssociate’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of directly related experience.Minimum of 2 years of warehouse leadership experienceSAP ERP experienceStrong leadership skills.Strong Excel experience including pivot tables, vlookups, formulas.Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
