Job mission and context

In order to stay competitive and continue to be able to deliver to our customers, ASML Supply Chain Management continuously needs to further professionalize its operation. One of the large challenges for the coming years is the standardization of the processes which we run in our (over 50) Warehouses worldwide. To facilitate the standardization we are implementing an interface with our logistic service providers to connect our ERP system (SAP) with the warehouse management system (WMS) from the logistic service providers. This set up requires this role in our organization to ensure the inventory levels between ASML and the logistic service providers are in sync.

You will join the Control Tower team of our diverse warehousing department on this mission, you have the drive, cross departmental communication skills and persistence to help us to make this a success.

Within this role you work for all our warehouses around the world in all time zones. We aim to organize this role with the ‘follow the sun principle’. This means we have someone available in each time zone.

We are now looking for someone to strengthen our organization in Korea to support in the Asian time zone. The warehousing team is based at ASML’s headquarters in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. One of the inventory controllers is based in the US and we are building up an organization in Korea. Your hierarchical line is into the control tower team in Veldhoven, but you will have a base with our other delivery colleagues in Korea.

Job description & main responsibilities

As an inventory controller your main responsibility is to keep the stock levels in our ERP system in sync with the stock levels in the WMS. This requires extensive knowledge of the processes and the IT systems. You will work together with ASML IT teams, the worldwide teams in the local organizations and the logistic service providers to ensure the inventory management processes are executed as designed.

Your responsibilities:

Ensure daily stock reports are produced and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.Work closely with the IT support organization, with the local planning teams and with the 3PLManage and solve disturbances caused in the logistics processes between and within the  warehousesMonitor the interface performance and resolve errors in the interface messages / documentsAnalyze the errors and issues and solve the root causes that prevent re-occuranceManage and control inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks across ASML and logistics service providers

Education

Bachelor or Master in Supply Chain Management, IT, Finance or comparable

Experience

3 to 6 years relevant experienceKnowledge of logistics (technical) processes, especially the IT flowSAP and Warehouse Management SystemsFluent in English, Korean. The Japanese and Mandarin language is a plusRelevant IT skills in MS Office applications, ERP systems, WMS applications and interface connectionsInterest in analyzing an solving issues that occur and seek for improvement

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
