EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Oversees all warehouse workers and drivers. Maintains computer system for Back of House operations. Place orders for food, paper and chemical needed to serve the meals for the contracted meal sites. Willingness to adjust work schedule to meet the demands of the job. Assist in the warehouse or as a driver whenever necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Fire extinguisher inspection.
Print daily work orders/ pick sheets, print, and distribute shipping lists.
Help supervise the truck drivers. Check that they load all food and supplies needed for the day's meals. Get times when they leave Central Kitchen and arrive at the schools. Check the trucks to make sure any pairs needed are reported.
Supervise the custodian: check cleaning and maintenance work is done correctly inside and outside the building and grounds.
Work with the assistant to make sure the Warehouse knows when orders are coming in.
Check products in so that the amount, item, and price are correct. Check on product rotation.
Assist in pulling and filling daily orders to be shipped out.
Keep a running and accurate inventory of all products ordered. Maintain or sublet equipment at the Central Kitchen and schools. Performing a regular cycle count on inventory to ensure accuracy.
Help to get bids on all items used in the lunch program, food, paper, chemicals, and equipment. Go over the bids with the supervisor for best buys.
Do paperwork that has to be sent to the SCCSD and yearend inventory.
Plan and schedule all work and repairs to be done during the summer at all the secondary schools and Central Kitchen.
Follow regulations according to the HACCP manual.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two to three years related experience in supervision of a food service warehouse preferred but not required.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals and groups from all levels of the organization, including departmental staff, principals, and central administration, as well as students, parents, and community members. Individuals must have effective listening skills. Must have positive communication to promote the spirit of cooperation with fellow workers.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to perform physical tasks including: climbing stairs, stretching, leaning, stooping, reaching, etc. for most of the work schedule. Lift up to 75 pounds frequently, stand or walk constantly.

Will perform other duties as may be assigned by the superintendent or designee, necessary and appropriate to achievement of the program and/or District goals and objectives.
