Purpose of the Position:

The Warehouse Clerk accurately receives materials/products (inbound shipments) in order to maintain integrity of inventory control, and ensures delivery of materials/product to the proper department.

Areas of Responsibility and Authority:

Inspects, accepts, or rejects inbound shipments.Signs for deliveries and if necessary refuses delivery of packages.Put Away and Consolidation activities.Performs put away activities on a daily basis.Consolidates partial product on a weekly basis and transfer location to SAP System.Cycle CountsPerforms cycle counts and reconciles discrepancies on a daily basis.Participates in annual full cycle count.Non Conformance ReportsPull and deliver rejected product based on NCR's to HFI area to be placed on hold.Scrap ControlCounts and weighs scrap for weekly pick up.Fill scrap report in a daily basis for Continuous Improvement Manager.Warehouse Housekeeping and SafetyEnsure Warehouse is kept clean and clear of safety issues on a daily basis.Sweeps and mops floors.Ensures all pathways are kept clear.Empties garbage containers when full.Perform daily safety checklist when driving forkliftReport any unsafe condition or near miss on the WarehouseSupports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.

 

Qualifications

Required Education/Skills
