Warehouse Laborer

 

Photech Environmental Services Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Warehouse Laborer for our facility in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The successful candidate will be trained as a Warehouse Laborer and Chemical Operator and engaged to provide chemical waste unpacking and consolidation services as part of our waste processing and consolidation production operations.

This role is onsite. This position is an 8-hour dayshift working from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday to Friday. Some overtime may be required. The pay range for this position is $20 per hour.

 

Responsibilities:

Chemical waste unpacking and consolidation Unpacking and bulking of packaged hazardous chemical wastes as part of a production line. Material handling including but not limited to the handling of pails, drums and totes. Lifting (up to 50 pounds), loading, stacking, pumping and general bulking using applicable material handling procedures and equipment Become Lift Truck trained and be able to safety operate machinery Facility maintenance Communicate effectively with end facilities as well as fellow employees to solve complex issues WOW! internal and external customers! Ability to work as a team player

Basic Requirements:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma Ability to work as part of a fast-paced production team   Basic knowledge of or desire to learn hazardous waste industry and/or the transportation of Dangerous Goods Act Aptitude for critical thinking as it applies to health and safety in a chemical production environment. Submit and pass criminal record check Submit and pass medical evaluation This is a Safety Sensitive Position
