Our client, a leading food production company, is seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Operations Lead to oversee production operations at their Buena Park, CA location. This position plays a vital role in ensuring efficient production in a cold environment, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. The successful candidate will lead a team, manage daily operations, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, motivate, and guide the 3rd shift team to foster a collaborative, productive, and safe work environment.Manage daily production activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and operational goals.Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, as well as electric Ryder jacks, to support material handling and inventory management.Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure product integrity and consistency, troubleshooting issues that arise during production.Assist in monitoring inventory levels, accurately document production metrics, and perform regular audits to maintain operational efficiency.Enforce company policies, safety standards, and conduct regular safety inspections to address any hazards in the work environment.

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.Proven experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, as well as electric Ryder jacks; certification is a plus.Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of developing teams, solving problems, and making effective decisions.Comfortable working in a cold environment and able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
