Warehouse Lead
**Job Title: Warehouse Lead** **Job Description** We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Warehouse Lead to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the daily operations of our shipping warehouse while ensuring a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, delegate tasks, and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. **Responsibilities** + Lead a team of warehouse associates, motivating them to achieve and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy. + Identify staffing needs and delegate tasks based on pick-pack-ship workflow. + Oversee warehouse picking, packing, and shipping of sales orders by setting expectations and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures. + Collaborate with other departments, such as account coordinators and production staff, to ensure smooth operations. + Maintain and manage accurate WIP inventory and shipping records. + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. + Train new warehouse associates and provide ongoing coaching and development to the team. + Address departmental inquiries or requests and resolve any order fulfillment issues. + Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained warehouse environment. + Assist with planning and leading departmental and continuous improvement projects. + Assist with troubleshooting and root cause identification for shipping errors and corrective/preventative action initiatives. + Contribute to creating, improving, and training on SOPs and assisting in 5S implementation and audits. + Perform duties assigned by management. + Backup Warehouse Associate 1, 2, & 3 roles as needed. + Complete projects on time using project management software. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma and 2-3 years’ experience in a warehouse shipping environment, preferably in a supervisory or lead role. + Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math. + Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. + Proficiency in warehouse management principles and best practices. + Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) a plus. + Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office; MS Teams experience preferred. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Ability to operate an electric pallet jack (required) and Stand-Up Reach Truck (preferred). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with shipping and receiving. + Material handling and computer skills. + Ability to supervise and delegate tasks effectively. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, critical illness, accident, and hospital coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan with pre-tax and post-tax contributions, voluntary life and AD&D insurance, short and long-term disability, a health spending account (HSA), transportation benefits, an employee assistance program, and paid time off (PTO, vacation, or sick leave). **Work Environment** Our facility is temperature controlled, very organized, and extremely clean.
