Position Summary:
As the Warehouse Lead, you are responsible for the overall safety, productivity, and efficiency of employees within their assigned area(s) during the assigned shift. You will oversee employees and monitor workflow to create efficiencies throughout day-to-day operations. You will help lead the culture through ensuring that the warehouse is providing Core-Mark customers with superior service and quality. A successful candidate will have effectively demonstrated an ability to supervise, lead, and communicate effectively to multiple warehouse employees. This individual should possess strong attention to detail, dedication to safety, and drive to provide quality throughout their work.
Position Responsibilities:Communicating with Warehouse Supervisor and employees at the start and throughout each shift.Ensure that consistent practices and policies are followed.Foster morale and encourage teamwork, pride, and quality performance.Monitor supplies levels at stations for start of shift and directing replenishment efforts.Ensuring that all equipment is in proper working condition.Leading a safe work environment, handling reports, and communicating situations in a timely manner.Ensuring that employees have received proper training and arranging for training as needed.Performing all task in compliance with safety policies and practices.Communicating with Warehouse Supervisor of progress and completion of assigned shift duties.Maintaining records of materials and items received/distributed.Fulfilling paperwork for assigned area.Perform other duties as requested by the management team.#CM-ALL
