Position Summary

Coordinates the daily interactions with freight carriers, internal stakeholders, and external customers to maintain efficient warehouse operations.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

Provides cross-functional teams with accurate and detailed billing information.Communicates with business partners regarding the disposition of freight.Coordinates with business partners on shipment dispatch, routing, pricing, and rates.Maintains and tracks shipping and receiving records within tracking applications.Finds the most profitable mode of shipment for business partners.Assists business partners on customer account needs and issue resolution.Plans, organizes, and coordinates the loading and unloading of trucks to ensure timely and accurate shipments.Monitors inventory levels and ensures shipments match inventory records.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree in logistics or a related field.2+ years of logistics experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.Willingness to work flexible hours.
