Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Warehouse Manager to join our team.

 

On a typical day you will:

Supervise freight deliveries and schedule daily truck driver deliveriesManage a high number of warehouse products including, but not limited to, parts related to hoisting and riggingHandle the communication and relationships with multiple vendorsSupervise the local fleet of company vehiclesManage the storing of inventory and the distribution of PUIsCommunicate effectively with service operations managers, open order/repair managers and service managersHandle distribution of partial shipments for any necessary active jobsLead the distribution and relocation of kits for our construction crewsOversee test-weight inventory, and the distribution of said weight to the required test locations on a weekly basisConduct inventory control, PPE ordering, shipping/receiving, and tool/equipment man­agement to ensure equipment is up to date and operating properlyProperly manage the containment of waste oil and schedule pickups by waste oil vendor to en­sure proper disposal and complete documenta­tion in compliance with Otis and State regulationsArrange and deliver parts, equipment or test weights to jobsitesMaintain warehouse vehicles and warehouse in safe, proper order

 

What you will need to be successful:

High school degree or equivalent requiredMust have a valid driver’s licenseCandidate must demonstrate strong verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customersLift up to 50 pounds and have a clean driving recordAbility to drive F-250 up to a box truck to coordinate and make material deliveries and pick-upsMust be DOT certified to drive a box truckForklift operation certifiedAbility to work in a highly team-oriented and dy­namic environmentCandidate must demonstrate strong verbal communication skills to effectively develop ex­pectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
