Job Description

Scope of Position: 

The warehouse management specialist will be working in our multi-tenant Logistics Order Fulfillment center.  This job is 95% working at a computer and oversees the inbound/outbound order fulfillment of key accounts.  Must have experience leading warehouse teams, have excellent communication skills, knowledge of allocating work, managing reports, inventory oversight, on customer teams calls and overseeing floor operations, solving issues and being the main point of contact for key accounts. Must be confident in their abilities and can multi-task, coordinate and plan well.  Looking for candidates that have potential for leadership growth in the future for Lead, Supervisor, Ops Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Billing clients & tracking costs (transportation, staffing, supplies)Able to open/close building & have a flexible work schedule based on business needs.Manage workflow, performance, and SOP of customer accounts.Help to plan staffing requirements based on customer needs.Handle complex issues and design corrective action plans to provide solutions.

Tasks and Duties 

Desk will be located in the warehouse where all the work is located.Manage the customer service, emails, requests, reports, SOPs, billing clients all on a computer.Conduct calls with clients over the phone/on cameraAble to open/close building & have a flexible work schedule based on business needs.Ensure that the warehouse team is meeting their daily goals and planning each day the workload.Oversee the processes in the distribution facility:  receipt, storage, and shipping of goods within the warehouse.Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.Oversee Inventory for the account/resolve issues.Collaborate with other teams to ensure coverage, cross training and support.Weekends/nights could be required around month end or quarter end.Seal/unseal trailersWarehouse is not climate controlled.

 

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field requiredLeadership background required (school/sports/work)Must have excellent writing, speaking, written skills3 years of relevant work experience in warehouse operations - desired but not requiredMust fit our company culture (review company website for more information).Should have Intermediate to Advanced Excel SkillsMust present themselves professionally in communication and in person, please review our company culture as there is a professional dress code.  Must have a background of job stability and show a resolute attitude towards work and responsibilities.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
