This position is an entry-level training and development position. The Maintenance I teammate troubleshoots, repairs, and perform preventive maintenance actions on material handling equipment and other facility support systems in the distribution center environment.

Ensure that spare parts usage, inventory and work order actions are accurately tracked and documented according to Company policy.Assist with DC maintenance requirements such as (but not limited to) refrigeration systems, plumbing, building lighting, welding, dock doors, air systems, racking, tote washer, and air spray painting.Maximize availability of all classes of batteries by managing charging cycles and battery rotation.Perform inspections and cleaning; do specific gravity checks; evaluate cable serviceability and repair damage.Develop a working knowledge of the required aspects of the McLane Maintenance Connection database.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED.At least 1 year of professional experience in industrial maintenance.At least 1 year of maintenance experience with material handling equipment.Able to read and understand electrical schematics.Experience with distribution center industrial equipment, including (but not limited to) forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, tuggers, and carts.Knowledge of OSHA regulations.Basic computer skills with experience in a maintenance database such as MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection.Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
