Our client, a leading manufacturer in the production industry, is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team in North Brunswick, NJ. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and facility systems to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting on manufacturing and processing equipment.Repair and maintain facility systems, including conveyors, air compressors, pumps, HVAC, and electrical systems.Use precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators for maintenance work.Troubleshoot and replace AC/DC electrical components, including batteries, fuses, relays, and motor starters.Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and lubricants needed for repairs and preventive maintenance.Respond to emergency equipment failures and assist in crisis management situations.Participate in regulatory inspections and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards (cGMP, OSHA, etc.).Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance equipment as needed.Work extended hours and occasional weekends as required.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, food manufacturing, or nutraceuticals preferred.Certifications in electronics, pneumatics, or hydraulics are a plus.Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air systems, and mechanical maintenance.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and follow written instructions.Forklift/scissor lift certification preferred.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.Must wear appropriate PPE, including lab coats, masks, gloves, and safety goggles.

Pay & Schedule:

Pay: $40/hr + $5/hr shift differentialSchedule: 3rd Shift | 11 PM - 7 AM
