Pet Insurance: Customize a plan that fits your budget, covering accidents, illnesses, and wellness, with Spot Pet Insurance. #BenA What you will do: Train, manage, and develop the warehouse team, including CDL drivers, delivery helpers, and warehouse partners Devise and implement effective procedures for daily warehouse operations in line with company guidelines Collaborate with management to identify and address operational issues Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by enforcing company policies and procedures Direct all incoming and outgoing material shipments, ensuring organized and efficient handling Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer needs, suggest inventory changes, and ensure accurate control and record-keeping Manage material movement and transfers, regularly spot-checking inventory Organize and maintain the warehouse, yard, and store layout for maximum efficiency and safety Work closely with the Regional Safety Manager to ensure adherence to safe operational procedures and timely reporting Monitor employee performance, conduct evaluations, and make recommendations for improvements as needed What you will bring: Bachelor's degree or 5 years of related experience Ability to identify and develop talent, mentor, coach, and lead through change Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with co-workers, vendors, and customers, along with excellent judgment, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities Motivational leadership to energize others and gain commitment to company vision Maintains a positive and enthusiastic environment, even in adverse situations Strong public relations skills with internal and external customers Forklift driving experience and ability to lift 75+ lbs 2-3 years of warehouse and inventory control experience, including working with building materials and using a forklift Ability to work extended hours and handle all types of building products More about QXO: The building products distribution market is a nearly $800 billion global opportunity, with a highly fragmented landscape and significant room for innovation.
