DESCRIPTION:
As a Warehouse Manager at Fisk Electric, you will have the opportunity to:
· Supervises and coordinates activities related to receiving, transporting, stocking, order filling, shipping, and maintaining accurate tool inventory and stock records in warehouse
· Oversees receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
· Maintains control of tool and equipment inventories
· Oversees, coordinates, and expedites the flow of work and material according to jobsite schedules
· Monitors the deliveries of supplies and equipment arrival at jobsites per schedule
· Ensures proper tracking of tools and tool parts to project sites
· Ensures effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
· Ensures all tools distributed to a jobsite are in proper working order and are complete with all accessories and returned in the same condition
· Identifies and coordinates tool repair and maintenance
· Reviews existing company owned items to fulfill requirements prior to purchasing these items.
· Purchases tools, equipment and supplies within budget guidelines and negotiates advantageous prices, services and terms.
· Maximizes the utilization rate of tools and equipment
· Manages company fleet maintenance and repairs by ensuring all construction vehicles and equipment are well maintained, secure and safe to use
· Coordinates repair of equipment and vehicles
· Maintains records and schedules routine maintenance on equipment/vehicles
· Interfaces with Branch Manager on vehicle repair and assignment
· Maintains secured, clean, and organized storage areas and establishes warehousing standards when necessary
· Designs, develops and improves inventory movement and storage systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
· High School Diploma or GED
· 5+ years of warehouse management experience
· Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
· Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
· Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
· Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills
· Ability and willingness to accept direction and/or constructive criticism
