BECOME A WAREHOUSE MANAGER AT PRIMEFLIGHT! 
Our Warehouse Manager plays a vital role in the daily operation of airport warehouse operations. In this position, you will be working with a team and coordinating the daily functions of the airport cargo functions. You will be responsible for ensuring precision and quality in your daily work.

 

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A WAREHOUSE MANAGER 

Oversee the operations and daily activities of the warehouse Manage and maintain inventory levels to ensure sufficient supplies and materials for production without overstocking  Implement and monitor effective warehouse storage practices for optimal space utilization and safety  Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff to enhance productivity and efficiency  Develop and maintain a safe working environment, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions  Utilize warehouse management systems to monitor inventory and generate reports on stock levels, orders, and discrepancies  Negotiate with transport companies and manage logistics to optimize shipping and receiving efficiencies  Monitor operational costs, budgeting, and resource allocation to reduce expenses and improve cost-effectiveness  Collaborate with other department managers to integrate logistics with company processes, such as sales, marketing, and customer service  Prepare performance reports for management, detailing warehouse activity and performance issues  Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ISO requirements related to warehousing and distribution  Brings their “A” game every day with energy and enthusiasm, respect for their team, and the highest regard for safety May be assigned other duties as required

 

QUALIFICATIONS

18 years of age or older Eligible to work in the United States Must provide their own hand tools Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents  Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices  Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means Pass a background check and drug screen Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

 

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY/WORKING CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE:  

Ability to lift up to 70 pounds Prolonged standing and walking in an indoor/outdoor environment as applicable Must be able to reach with arms and grasp with hands  Must be able to push, pull  Must be able to bend, stretch, squat  Must be able to crawl and crouch, at times, in confined tight spaces  Must be able to climb and work at elevated heights Exposure to moderate and at times high noise levels Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
