Direct warehouse activities for the organization by performing on site services in support of the Logistics Integration Support (LIS) Program located at Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) in Albany, GA. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of logistics support activities provided to MCLC.
What you will be responsible for:
Interact with the Government customer and OEM ReMan Vendors to receive and issue/ship assets and address or escalate (as needed) any issues related to the LIS ProgramImplement initiatives/process improvement changes at the respective siteEstablish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory currentEnsure the smooth flow of incoming and outgoing material/orders to the customer or return of material to the OEMs for repairComplete all day-to-day operational requirements as assigned by the Program Manager or Operations ManagerDevelop and manage staffing requirements, implementation plans, and training schedulesCoordinate with local USG representatives and AAR Procurement to expedite material for requirementsImplement initiatives/process improvement changes at their respective siteAll other duties as assignedDirect warehouse activities for the organization by performing on site services in support of the Logistics Integration Support (LIS) Program located at Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) in Albany, GA. High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university or minimum of seven years related experience as a supervisor preferred7 years of experience in the Logistics or Supply Chain field required4 years in a Team Lead or Supervisor role required; 7 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment preferredPrevious experience in warehousing, handling inventory, and leading a diverse staff requiredDirect experience working on projects with or any Department of Defense Agency/Repair Depot requiredGood understanding of Supply Chain Management methodology and U.S. Defense MILSTRIP process requiredFamiliarity with ISO requirements, safety, and training plans preferredExperience with DoD systems such as FEDMALL and WEBVLIPS preferredAbility to obtain a government CAC and a Secret Security Clearance (if necessary) requiredAdministrative and management experienceExperience applying quality controlProficiency with Microsoft SuitesExperience and knowledge of military ground equipmentKnowledge and understanding of military maintenance programs and supply chain managementCritical and strategic thinkingPossess the ability to interact and effectively communicate with Marine Corps senior uniformed officers and senior executivesAbility to maintain continuity of services in the time of crisis.The rewards of your career at AAR go far beyond just your salary:
