Warehouse Materials Specialist I
Job Description Day-to-day: A non-profit in San Antonio is looking for a Warehouse Materials Specialist I to join their team on-site. The Warehouse Materials Specialist will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, sorting and labeling inventory, breaking down boxes/trash removal, and date entry. Other day-to-day activities include, but are not limited to: maintaining cleanliness and organization within all assigned supply storage areas to include proper supply rotation and placement; maintaining all CMS department use supplies within established inventory levels i.e., supplier packaging and shipping documents, labels, cartons etc.; preparing and maintaining any/all required correspondence and records; participating within teamoriented work projects for the development and implementation of validations, process, improvements, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); participating in continuing education and attend meetings as required; assist with training and/or mentoring of new employees and/or volunteers; participating within CMS department rotating oncall/afterhours coverage and availability; performing other duties as assigned. This is a contract role that has a high likelihood of converting after the initial contract of 6-8 months. It pays hourly based on experience ranging from $18-21/hour.
