We are now seeking a Warehouse Officer to join our Supply team at our Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. Accountable to the Superintendent: Supply.

This role is based at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine on an 8/5 4/4 FIFO roster, we operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and Kalgoorlie.

 

Accountabilities:

Goods issues and receipting utilising SAP Supply system. Undertake daily review of Spare Parts holdings, and update end users of availabilities. Provide a high level of service to Warehouse and Supply customers (at service counter) and around the site and maintain a close working relationship with users. Assisting with accurate stocktaking of all inventories on a weekly basis. Assist the preparation of warehouse items for plant shutdowns. Load/unload trucks when required. Preparing inwards and outwards road & air freight. Deliveries around site. Safe forklift operation, loading and unloading of vehicles and reconciling against manifested items. General housekeeping.

 

About You

Along with these expectations the ideal candidate would ideally possess:

Previous experience within a supply / warehouse environment on a mine site in a fly in fly out basis. Sound written and oral communication skills, good organisational skills and a good level of computer literacy. Experience in the Transport, Storage and Handling of Dangerous Goods. A strong desire to succeed with a demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and teamwork. A Self-Starter with an ability to also work effectively within a team environment. Minimum 2 years SAP Experience including the Materials Management Module as well as Microsoft Office suite- Outlook, Word and Excel. Forklift license, WA high risk license (LF). Current WA drivers license, minimum MR/HR unrestricted license. Ability to obtain a new National Police Clearance. Existing and ongoing Permanent work rights in Australia (Mandatory).
