Automation Innovation Platform Senior Manager: This operations role involves leading innovation with internal and external partners to develop, pilot, and rollout new technology to automate decisions in multiple warehouses across North America. Daily work could encompass any of the following:
Delivery and start-up of algorithms, initiatives, and projects. Collaborating with experts, other functions, and other manufacturing sites to create the best solutions.Designing innovative new logic or functions to expand the scope of the technology and drive business transformations.Creating and improving standards to enable us to achieve the performance targets for the system.Designing digital systems to partner with the automation technology to drive out losses.Understanding and working with state-of-the-art robotics and automated equipment.Ensuring new automation fits into the overall flow of the warehouse and enables the overall site to deliver its Key Performance Indicators.Identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and eliminating losses and inefficiencies.
This specific role is working in the technology platform team and will be
responsible for delivering the solutions to the site and solving problems as
mentioned above and to develop new solutions with our physical and digital automation to create more value.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications Required:
Ability to problem solve, make clear choices, influence others, and take smart riskTechnical Skills:Power BIKnowledge of SQL and database queries.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable conclusions.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly and effectively.Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn new skills.Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and analytical skills.A desire to work with a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing/distribution environmentWilling to travel on the jobPay Range: $115,000 - $145,000
