Primary Purpose of the Job:
To manage the operations of Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo warehouse, control inventory flow in and out of the organisation, and provide optimum levels of service to support sales at all retail and E-Commerce businesses including new central Tokyo stores. This role is required to take responsibility for all functions related to the receiving, storage, and delivery of inventory to any and all Tokyo stores including the Studio Tour and Harry Potter Harajuku.
Essential Job Functions:
Stock
Manage and co-ordinate the warehouse, stockrooms, and stock administration functions for the Studio Tour, and central Tokyo store location(s).Ensure stock densities are at optimum levels through effective stock management, replenishment, and operational efficiency.Co-ordinate daily logistics operation for transporting inventory to Harry Potter Harajuku and any other store(s) in the Tokyo area.Develop a stock transport plan for the movement of stock from the Studio Tour to any other locations, including security methods for preventing stock tampering, and minimizing shrinkage.Provide co-ordination, through the Warehouse Operations team, for all stock deliveries coming into the Studio Tour warehouse, ensuring accuracy in receival counts and delivery tracking records.Ensure effective and accurate inventory control in order to maintain full stock holding, including ensuring the team complete regular cycle counts.Ensuring all incoming and outgoing deliveries are processed within appropriate timescales.Monitor stock levels held in stores and stock areas and identify and communicate potential out-of-stock issues to the Merchandising team.Ensure the team always meet stockroom security and presentation standards.Communicate with logistics organisation for all stock movement out of the Studio Tour site, acting as a key point of contact for any planning, escalated issues or security concerns.Manage all cycle counts and annual stock taking processes, reporting on results, and providing rectifying actions to deficits/overages.Ensure all security reporting is conducted accurately and to deadline.Assist the Merchandising Manager and Quality Control Coordinator to accurately and regularly report faulty and damaged stock, helping to identify any trends.People
Manage the preparation of rotas, schedules and payroll information in conjunction with the Workforce Planner.Participate in daily briefings to keep all members of the team fully aware of activity within the department and the business.Communicate and work together with other WB divisions and partners.Recruit warehouse roles and manage performance and development.Support any back of house function roles outside of the Studio Tour in best practice for effective stock management as well as communication to Warehouse Operations wider team.Deliver induction and ongoing training in all relevant areas for all Warehouse Operations members.Coordinate and implement Health & Safety policies and procedures in all warehouse areas to ensure a safe environment for all visitors and staff in line with company policies.Take responsibility for own personal development through one-on-one coaching from line manager.Administration
Manage continuous operational process improvement identification and plans to implement changes.Manage warehouse and stock administration and ensure work is accurate and up to date.Using appropriate programmes, manage and process purchase orders in accordance with Warner Bros. policy.Maintain relevant paperwork and systems for the accurate accounting of incoming deliveries, requisition and transport out of the Studio Tour.Flag concerns or errors in paperwork, transfers or deliveries.Collate information and prepare reports ensuring accuracy.Ensure a periodic health and safety audit is conducted and action plan created to address areas of concern.Selection Criteria
Relevant Previous Work ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of senior warehouse management experience in a similar retail environment (or the tourism, leisure or heritage industry).Experience in stock control within a warehouse for a high volume of stock lines.Experience managing distribution to multiple retail stores.Previous experience of SAP, or warehouse management systems would be advantageous.Skills Required

37.5 hours a week
weekend and evening work required on peak period
Because of the adaptive nature of this role, flexibility is required to suit the needs of the business.
Be responsible for the Warehouse site, making sure the site is safe and secure consistently.
