Warehouse Operations Specialist - HS

Ideas candidate will be responsible for organizing and providing efficient transportation and storage solutions for the entire life cycle of HVAC parts, supplies, and equipment. The candidate will be solely responsible for the incoming and outgoing of inventory from the warehouse facility for Hunton Services. Able to implement standard operating procedures for the newly created warehouse location. Coordination of the warehouse and customer jobsite activities include managing purchase orders, shipping of products, staging and delivering customer orders, and all purchasing transactions with Trane and local vendors. Responsibilities: + Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders and other operational documentation. + Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments. + Communicate with the Dispatch staff on customer inquiries, both timely and efficiently. + Assist with inventory control and entering inventory into the software system. + Collaborate with other internal departments such as Area Service Manager, Dispatch, Estimating and Sales team. + Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues with internal partners or outside vendors. + Closely monitoring inventory levels during peak season. + Determine inventory levels; identify and properly tag products according to business units. + Create and manage spreadsheets according to immediate needs. + Proficient in using computer systems including MS Suite, Outlook, Calendar, and Mobil technology. + Dispose of excess and obsolete inventory and maintain system inventory accuracy. + Staging, shipping, and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies - HVAC. + Participate in all safety meetings and huddles as needed. + Stock the parts store with an appropriate amount of merchandise. + Work with Tool Room staff to deliver parts, supplies, equipment, and other HVAC related products to customer locations or job sites. + File M/S's, freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes. + Initiate the filing of freight claims for damaged goods with Trane or other vendors. + Manage receipt, inspecting, document, tag and maintain stocking products. + Additional tasks may be assigned as needed. Skills Required: + Maintain a valid driver's license at all times. + Successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check. + Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively support inside sales teams and interact with customers. + Operate a forklift to load and unload equipment onto pallets or in boxes, as required. + Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications. + Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. + Willingness to work overtime or weekends when needed. Education and/or Experience Required: + High School Diploma or equivalent + Associate's degree preferred. + 2 - 5 years of proven warehouse experience + Forklift certified preferred.
