As a Warehouse Operations Technician, you will support a broad range of activities in a dynamic, high-energy warehouse environment, providing all material to production departments for manufacturing the best rail vehicles in the world. This role focuses on the receiving, putting away, picking, kitting, or delivery of material to production. Additionally, the role may focus on the interaction with the MRP system for accurately tracking the material movements.
What your day-to-day will look like:Follow all safety requirements, including the use of all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Contribute to and maintain conditions that ensure a healthy and safe work environment.Specific areas or responsibilities may include receiving, putting away, picking, kitting, or delivering material to production.Ensure the correct quantity of material is moved to the specified location and MRP system transactions are completed correctly.Ensure all material is properly identified with appropriate labels and part numbers.Carefully handle material to prevent any damage during handling in the warehouse or delivery to production.Immediately notify supervisor of any quality or delivery issuesUse of powered industrial vehicles in the movement of material.
