Culina Group is a leading UK 3rd party food & drinks logistics provider offering dedicated and shared user warehousing and distribution solutions.

We are now recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join our team at our new IPS site in Saint Helens. 

Shift:  Monday-Friday 06:00am-14:00pm & 14:00pm-22:00pm and 22:00pm-06:00am. 

Salary: £13.52 per hour. 

Job DescriptionTo assist in the smooth day to day running of the warehouse, dispatch and site ancillariesTo maximise warehouse and factory pallet flow, despatch, incoming and pallman/wrap area’s to ensure minimum production downtime.To assist in the control of materials usage to agreed targetsTo ensure that all work practices conform to health and safety guidelinesTo set an example to all new employee’sTo promote best practice within all warehouse departmentTo assist in colleague training and development when requiredTo undertake all work in line with department procedures and guidelinesTo ensure that good work practices and housekeeping are adhered toTo ensure all paperwork and systems are completed in a timely and accurate mannerTo ensure all equipment is maintained in a reliable, safe and hygienic manner and report any discrepancies to your immediate managerMaintain good timekeeping and attend all team meetings/briefsTo adhere to all company policies and proceduresPlay an active part in continuous improvementTo undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post (to include working in production cells during non-peak season)Be available for monthly stock take days in line with customer needs.Be available to complete reasonable overtime within the needs of the business as per company handbook.To carry out any other reasonable requested task from a member of management to ensure continuation of IPS processes.

QualificationsAny of the following VNA (Very Narrow Aisle), Counter Balance/Reach FLT, lollop truck licences essentialExperience of working in Food manufacturing would be advantageous however; general warehouse skills are a necessity.Speed and accuracy of work is key.
