Waddington Europe has a vacancy for an Warehouse Operative to work for Waddington Europe - Bridgwater site.

The ideal candidate will posses a FLT licence, experience of working in a Warehouse environment would be beneficial.

Responsible to carry out all aspects of the companies warehousing, and distribution activities assigned to you by the Warehouse Manager, including the efficient movements of raw materials to the production area and finished goods to be shipped out to customers.

This role is available on a 3 week rotation shift pattern working: 6am-2pm Monday - Friday (week1), 10pm-6am Sunday - Thursday (week 2), 2pm-10pm Monday - Friday (week3), working 7.5 hours per day, full time.

\n Ensure all production needs are met with regards to raw material issues and finished goods removal Ensure all customer order requirements are met and highlight any shortfalls promptly to the relevant departments Effective use of the companies ERP system and infrastructure to complete associated tasks in a timely manner ERP/CMS Tasks, use of shipping scheduler, creating BOL, scanning to shipments, Pallet builds split and maintain, Warehouse transfers, Stock Control, RANS, receiving process, Inventory moves Ensure that all company documentation, procedures and disciplines are adhered to and relevant to the functions performed Ensure any shortfalls in materials (film, pallets, boxes, labels, etc.) are anticipated and resolved before they adversely impact production or our customers Ensure all production and customer demands are met Ensure quality standards are maintained and any nonconforming items are investigated and resolved Assist with the development and implementation of continuous improvement practices and team working Assist in the activities associated with company stock-takes, Mandatory participation of 2 per year Help to maintain and improve efficiencies within the warehouse Communicating with Production and other departments at all levels ensuring information is passed efficiently and correctly Ensuring that Health & Safety policy and procedures are followed and updated accordingly Comply with all policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment is maintained Abide by the company’s environmental and quality management procedures. Carry out any reasonable duties we request that are within your abilities, irrespective of grade/skill level \n
