The role
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll play an integral part in the logistics and supply chain for Babcock DSG.
Day-to-day, you’ll work within the site warehouse environment and undertake the Receipt, Storage and Issuing functions of the logistics Supply-chain in support of material requirements of Babcock DSG operations
Action Supplier deliveries within goods- inward department and transaction through Inbound Receipting process Support with warehouse tasks where required. Complete regular housekeeping as part of warehouse operative role Maintenance of Stock integrity through Product compliance including shelf life to ensure through-process control. Action outbound picking activity in response to Babcock customer demands, ensuring accuracy, correct condition, and sufficient packaging for onward distribution
This position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Donnington.
Essential experience of the Warehouse Operative:
MHE licence Basic level of IT skills – IT Literate (Microsoft excel) Knowledge of warehousing and MRP systems
