Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor

Purpose of the Role
FLT Licence desirable
The main purpose of this role is to support business operations and customer demand to ensure the safe and efficient receipt of products from production into the warehouse; the safe and effective storage of product; and the timely despatch of products from the warehouse.
Main responsibilities
To pick products correctly and accurately, and in line with specified deadlines
Be accountable for the quality of the work you carry out
Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck.
Load goods for dispatch
Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.
Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others.
Demonstrate personal integrity by being trustworthy and honest.
Qualifications & experience
GCSEs level D-G, Key Skills Level 1, NVQ Level 1, International Vocational Certificate (IVQ)
A counterbalance forklift truck licence and or VNA licence is essential
Must have previous order picking experience
