Warehouse Operative
About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operator to join our team in Carrigaline.

This is a full time permanent role

You will be working as part of a small team Monday to Friday 830am - 5pm with occasional overtime

Our site in Carragaline manufactures for enzymes and brewing ingredients

What will I be doing?

Preparation of manufacturing orders - picking materials, assembling and staging batches for production departments
Preparation of products for dispatch to third party warehouses and toll manufacturers. Shrink wrapping, labelling and SAP processing  

Calling off raw materials and packaging from third party warehouse and processing transactions on SAP
Sampling finish product and process materials nearing best before date for retest
Assisting with weekly cycle counting of materials and SAP reconciliation with plant controller
Maintain GMP, cleanliness and documentation standards for all warehouse area’s and coldstore
Proactive approach to safety. Assist with safety audits as required
Work safely in an area with lots of forklift pallet movements and manual handling tasks
Cover other warehouse roles duties during holiday periods

What do I need to be successful?

Good team-working and communication skills
Self-motivated and good organisational skills

Looking for an energetic person, who is flexible and must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Certified forklift driver with experience
Computer literate – SAP experience of Inventory Managed Warehouse is an advantage, working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Intelex preferred.
Flexible to work in required department(s) as designated by the business.
