Warehouse Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Typical duties/responsibilities for quality may include, but are not limited to, the following:•\tReceive and verify documentation, sku #, quantities and overall quality from vendors•\tStock product from vendors and plants into bulk locations•\tConsolidate product with the same sku #’s in bulk locations•\tPull bulk product and place in pick zones•\tConsult with Inventory Control in resolving stock issues•\tRetrieve specified product from pick locations to ship •\tTransfer cartons from shipping lanes to stack onto pallets for loading•\tMeet and maintain department quality/productivity standards.•\tAble and certified to drive power industrial equipment as needed•\tOther duties as deemed necessary or assigned.Expectations: Requires thorough knowledge of safety expectations. Requires ability to support resolution of complex problems, work with a diverse staff, communicate effectively, represent the organization, and collaboration with peers. Expects foresight to anticipate problems and recognize opportunities for improving operations.

Qualifications for the role

\tMinimum 2- years verifiable experience in manufacturing/distribution environment \tBasic computer skills and understanding of overall distribution operations. \tAbility to read and comprehend information and count inventory accurately.\tAbility to work in 3-level modules - Not afraid of height \tAbility to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively and frequently.\tAbility to stand/walk for extended periods of time and climb stairs throughout shift.\tFlexible to work overtime with little or no notice.
