Your Role:
The Warehouse Operator 3 is responsible for the receipt of all incoming materials, supplies, equipment and returned goods. The Operator will route or deliver material to storage or production areas, and safely operate a variety of material handling equipment, which may include narrow aisle, wire guided Operator up machines. Additional responsibilities include:
Receipt and put away of all incoming materials, supplies, equipment and returned goodsUnload trailers using power equipment, verify freight and sign bill of ladingSort, inspect and receive in the appropriate system IE SAP Put product away using scanner or computer systemResolve product issues with ProcurementSchedule dock appointments with carriersPack items for shipment to customerCheck chemicals, catalog number, lot number, special requests information, unit size and weights against order documentation found in packing or receiving instructionsPack the material, following established procedures and instructions while complying with hazard regulationsApply all required labels and markings to box to comply with hazardous materials regulationsFulfill internal supply ordersAccurately select and stage product with use of power equipmentMaintain record of orders and inventory accuracyCommunicate and resolve discrepancies with internal customersDeliver product to onsite customers and put product into storage areasPerform all necessary adjustments and moves in the appropriate systemCommunicate with Procurement any discrepancies or product issuesCommunicate with Customer Interface Departments on shipping issues, expedite prioritiesAudit counts, verify actual location with systemRemove and ship all defective material to vendorsMiscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned Shift: 2nd shift, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Mon - Fri
Who You Are:
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED6+ months of experience in an industrial warehouse environment
Preferred Requirements:
6+ months of PIT (powered industrial truck) experience3+ years of work experience in an industrial settingBasic PC skillsOperate SAP and WMS systemsRF scanner proficiency, move, crate, and audit materialBasic understanding of shipping regulations and locating shipping informationOperation of powered and manual material handling equipmentExcellent organizational skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsTime management skills
