Warehouse Operator

Job Summary:

Under supervision, follow established procedures to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions, and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse. The role includes receiving incoming goods, checking for damage and discrepancies, sorting, labeling, storing goods, and dispatching outgoing orders. This entry-level position focuses on order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping, with flexibility to perform other miscellaneous duties.

1. Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards. Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard. Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment. Promote interdependence by looking out for one another. Correct hazards within your control and capabilities. Recognize how your work may impact the environment and work to minimize negative impact. Engage in HSE training.

2. Quality

Follow applicable standard work, work instructions, and quality procedures. Report issues to minimize cost and quality exposures. Perform quality checks for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices. Identify and control non-conforming materials.

3. Delivery

Receive, sort, label/package, and store incoming goods to optimize warehouse space. Operate manual and automated equipment to pick, pack, and ship products per customer expectations. Maintain high competency in core work skills and meet cycle times or engineering standards.

4. Teamwork

Communicate effectively with team members and support teams. Complete training as per business requirements. Actively participate in improving quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee development. Maintain a clean and orderly work area, perform routine housekeeping, and operator care tasks. Collaborate with peers and support staff to identify equipment needing repairs.
