**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented warehouse operator to join our team specializing in our distribution business in Elkhart, IN. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + Under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse + Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices + Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space + Pick, pack, and dispatch incoming and outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders + Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery + Perform cycle counts, prepare bills of lading, and use computer software **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** + High school diploma or equivalent + Forklift certified + Experience in shipping and receiving + Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally, wear required personal protective equipment **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education, Licenses, Certifications:** High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. **Experience:** + Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience + Prioritize parts counter sales and support, while being the go-to for warehouse responsibilities. + Fill in where needed throughout the day, although prioritizing parts department activities. + Load/unload freight trucks as needed, assume warehouse task ownership. + Delivering customer orders + Picking Orders + Use of forklift + Focus on Safety + Walking/Standing 8 hours a day + Ability to lift 40lbs **Key responsibilities:** Performs quality checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices/sales order for Shipping and or receiving Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods in the appropriate location, and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
