General Description of Position:
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for all phases of assembling materials for customer orders, receiving new and returned product, and maintaining safety and quality standards within the warehouse. Requirements
: \u2022 High school diploma or equivalent.
\u2022 One or more year (s) experience as a forklift operator;
\u2022 One or more year(s) experience as warehouse clerk preferred.
\u2022 General fluency in English required, verbal and written.
\u2022 Basic computer literacy preferred but not required; Essential Functions/Job Duties:
\u2022 Read customer order documents to accurately determine selection of product and assemble inventory required.
\u2022 Move outgoing product using hand truck, forklift or other material handling equipment, in accordance with all safety policies, to loading dock.
\u2022 Receive, sort and place incoming product in appropriate warehouse location.
\u2022 Document and record any customer return as required.
\u2022 Record amounts of material shipped or received in Victory computer system.
\u2022 Mark materials and product with Victory inventory codes;
\u2022 Notify Supervisor, General Manager or Office Manager of any product, safety or customer concerns.
\u2022 Assist with general counting of inventory; \u2022 Open all containers, crates or bales as required to sort and maintain stock;
\u2022 Organize warehouse for cleanliness and safety at all times.
\u2022 Sweep, mop and perform other routine maintenance.
\u2022 Maintain all safety standards, including wearing protective clothing and eyewear as required;
\u2022 Maintain all quality indicators for operations by verifying product quantity/quality before delivery;
\u2022 Keep warehouse accessible and safe for branch staff and visitors;
\u2022 Coordinate of last minute or unscheduled deliveries will be necessary. Additional Functions/ Job Duties: \u2022 Assist in U-Haul production

\u2022 Walk for distances of 100 yards repeatedly and without assistance;
\u2022Lift 50 pounds repeatedly and without assistance or equipment;
\u2022 Utilize all material handling equipment without assistance;
\u2022 Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
