Job Title: Warehouse Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating sit-down forklifts (5K propane) and performing various warehouse duties.

ResponsibilitiesOperate sit-down forklifts (5K propane) for 60% of the day.Accurately pick orders based on customer requirements, ensuring correct items and quantities are selected.Utilize RF scanners to track and manage inventory, ensuring accurate data entry and retrieval.Pull pallets by SKU, ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient storage.Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels and identify any discrepancies.Work with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to streamline operations, manage inventory, and maintain records.Efficiently put away received goods into designated storage locations.Repack orders as needed to meet customer specifications and ensure safe transport.Create and apply labels to products and packages for identification and tracking.Split cases from pallets as required, ensuring items are correctly sorted and stored.Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring all areas are free of debris.Essential Skills3-5 years of warehouse and forklift experience.Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts (5K propane).Experience with RF scanners, WMS, and ERP systems.Forklift certification (recertification provided on-site).Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
