**The Opportunity** **Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (formerly Alere)** is part of Abbott’s Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies. Our in-vitro Diagnostic Assay manufacturing site in **Dundee** has an exciting opportunity for a **Warehouse Operator** to join the team. **MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB** + The role is an individual contributor position. + Expectations are aligned with the Capabilities and Behaviours outlined in the Abbott Dundee Employee Handbook. + The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the safe receipt and management of inventory. + Inventory management must adhere to current best practices and Quality standards. + Responsibilities are aligned with the expectations set by the Warehouse Supervisor. **ACCOUNTABILITIES** + Conduct activities in line with Abbott Dundee's Health & Safety culture. + Follow instructions, such as SOPs, to manage the supply chain accurately and maintain quality standards. + Complete quality documentation according to GMP requirements. + Participate positively in training and self-development. + Operate Warehouse apparatus. + Contribute to continuous improvement activities related to product line, process, documentation, material, and workplace organization. + Perform other duties as requested by the Line or Department Manager. **BASE REQUIREMENTS** + Nat 4 or equivalent in English, Maths or equivalent experience to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills. + Hold an active forklift license, or capable of obtaining an forklift license. **BACKGROUND** + Drive and commitment to meet customer performance and delivery goals. + Accountability skills to set clear and simple expectations for oneself and the group. + Flexibility to adapt to changing business goals and manage workload positively. + Effective communication with a wide audience and openness to others' views. + Self-directed and motivated to deliver appropriate results. + Attend and contribute meaningfully to meetings (e.g., Tier meetings). + Daily communication with local leaders to support and encourage. + Compliance with environmental, health and safety (EHS) and quality standards. + Excellent attention to detail. + Knowledge of GMP processes and procedures. **WHAT WE OFFER** As you’d expect from a global healthcare company, we offer a fantastic range of benefits including competitive salaries, a superb defined contribution pension scheme, private healthcare, life assurance and a flexible benefits scheme.
