Warehouse Operator/Material Handler
Located in Burley, ID, DuPont is hiring Forklift Operators/Material Handlers at the XPS Styrofoam™ production facility. If you are hardworking, dependable, career-minded, and safety-conscious then this is the role for you!

The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following:
· Operate a fork truck to load finished product onto tractor trailers
· Operate a fork truck to receive and stage raw materials, packaging, and other supplies per work instructions.
· Remove product from facility assembly line and place in storage system using fork truck
· Perform daily safety inspections of fork trucks prior to starting each day
· Complete all paperwork as required including procedures
· Environmental responsibilities include proper disposal of waste materials to prevent pollution.
· Understand and follow all safety rules.
· Perform duties assigned routinely and during plant emergencies.
· Proper use of safety procedures to reduce employee health risks.
· Participate in audits, procedure reviews, and safety assessments
· Participate in all required safety meetings and training program
· Perform daily housekeeping in assigned work area and all other work areas when requested to maintain a clean and safe environment.
· Participate in snow removal and other winterization activities as winter months or when winter weather is present.
· Understand and comply with all Safety, Health, and Environmental requires
Qualifications:
· A minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D. is required
· Willing and able to work a 8-hour day shift Monday through Friday
· A valid US driver’s license is required
· Willing and able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice is
required including either 8 hour and/or 12-hour shifts to provide coverage for workers with a similar role.
· Willing to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at when required, such as steel toes, hardhat, high visibility clothing, and protective eyewear.
· Willing and able to lift and move objects that weigh up to 55 lbs is required
· Willing and able to perform repetitive movement; including climb several flights of stairs multiple times per day, stand, stoop, and bend is required
· Demonstrated computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is preferred
· Follow all procedures and stop work if procedures are unclear, inadequate, or if a procedure is needed and none exist.
· Successfully complete College of Southern Idaho Forklift Operator Certification Training within 90 days (DuPont pays all costs/fees)
Work Schedule:
· Schedule will be either 8 hours per day Monday to Friday or a rotating 12-hour shift schedule that works two days 6:00AM to 6:00PM, then two nights 6:00PM to 6:00AM, followed by 4 days off, then the cycle repeats.
Upon completing 90 days and 180 of employment, you will be eligible for a $500 hiring bonus contingent on having reliable attendance and meeting training expectations. If you do not have reliable attendance or are behind on training, you will receive a written explanation as to the reason. The hiring bonus payments of $500 will be paid out in the pay period following completion of the 90 and 180 days of employment.
