What You'll Do:
As a Warehouse and Packaging Supervisor you'll provide leadership, support and guidance for the operation of the Packaging and Warehouse departments. Incumbent will work directly with Packaging and Warehouse employees, maintenance and engineering to help troubleshoot and resolve recurring issues that impact productivity in this area. This position will also work alongside other areas of the plant to help support and achieve the overall success of the plant.
What We're Looking For:
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all RC14001 and HSES procedures and practices to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies. Report all accidents, injuries, spills, releases, and near misses immediately, and complete required safety training on time.
Incident Reporting: Report safety suggestions, accidents, injuries, spills, releases, and near misses immediately to the Manufacturing Manager or HSES Department. Safety Training: Complete required safety training on time and assist with the development and implementation of departmental training manuals and on-the-job training processes. Corrective Actions: Responsible for maintaining, improving, and establishing corrective and preventive action processes relating to the RC14001 and HSES programs for their area of responsibility. Coordination & Feedback: Coordinate area activities and resources in implementation of RC14001 and HSES requirements, and provide information and feedback to the HSES Department as appropriate. Quality System Compliance: Comply with ISO 9001:2015/EXCIPACT GMP Quality System and ensure annual procedure reviews are complete. Operations Management: Manage all Packaging and Warehouse employees, assist with approval and scheduling of overtime, plan and troubleshoot activities, and work with maintenance to align related activities with production needs. Continuous Improvement: Analyze production performance, develop and implement actions for continuous improvement, and work with operators to improve process efficiency and productivity through standardization and coaching. Training & Development: Provide necessary training for employees, develop procedure-specific refresher and/or recertification training, and work with process engineers to develop, revise, and implement operational policies and procedures. Audit Participation & Safety Improvement: Participate in external and internal audits as a representative for operations, review HSE performance, and implement procedures to improve safety and product quality performance.Skills That Make a Difference:
Bachelor’s degree in management, supply chain or related field (or equivalent experience) At least 5 years supervisor experience, preferred Ability to investigate, summarize and offer creative solutions to issues Servant leader attributes Must have strong work ethic, professional attitude, reliability and focus on safetyHighly organized and detail oriented; with the ability to plan, manage and prioritize multiple work assignments
Strong ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with varying levels of the organization Customer service focused Working knowledge of various computer systems including Delta V, Microsoft Office suite and SAP, preferred
